Ice ice Baby

So we got the coldest temps in over 15 years in Frisco, TX. We got snow and ice and school out for 4 days! Our days have been filled with schoolwork and games and trying to stay warm!

I have to tell you that I tip my hat to the parents that home school their children. I have a few special need kids, I also tip my hat to the wonderful teachers at Fisher that spend the extra time with my kiddos. This week has worn me out with trying to work on spelling words, word finds, writing, abc's, etc. But in the end it is worth it! The kids have played games with each other, made some great soups and some cuddle time.

I have been trapped in the house since Monday night, the ice in our alley has blocked me in. If I even tried I would most likely hit my neighbors fence. My wonderful husband said on Tuesday night," You know you are not driving ANYWHERE!!! I said, "ok". Which is fine with me.

Our alley driveway!

Our front street and you can see the dry areas, but look at the ice ice baby!

What a winter so far!
