I got home and was talking to a friend and looked down at my feet, well they were HUGE! And I just did not feel right. So I went to take my BP. It was 200 over 100!!
I called the doctor on call, because it was about 5:00pm at this time. They told me to keep checking it and would check back with me in 45 minutes, the longest 45 minutes EVER!
So I laid on my bed in the dark and just prayed. I had a peace but was still nervous, as I had 9 kids but this was the first time I was pregnant.
Michael was at work and when he got home, I drove myself to Pres B Plano, he had to stay with the other 7 little ones.
As I drove to the hospital in my black sweat suit and flip flops, I was listening to Casting Crowns, "I will praise you in this storm".
At this point gave it to God and took every minute at a time.
They took me to L & D and hooked me up to the monitors and just watched him. He was great, but my BP was still up there.
So we just waited! The funny thing they kept me on the delivery bed so as I slept, the bottom of the bed kept slipping out from me!
At one point, the nurse said are you feeling that contraction? I said, he is just rolling! She said, no those are contractions! So I have had them before but just thought that the pain was with him rolling! Which he did a lot!
Then , I was put to sleep by the sound out his heartbeat!
Come back tomorrow to see what happened next!

This is me at 34 weeks, the Sat. Before the Wed. Feb.17,2010, I went into the hospital!
